Having only recently received her professional licence in early 2019, Claire is excited to be stepping up to race in the Professional field. Claire started competing in triathlons three years ago (2016) whilst trying her hand at a couple of short distance races. After attending an ETE Tri Camp, she met her coach Perry Agass who began to develop her as a triathlete and got her to focus on middle distance races where she found herself much more suited.
After a successful 2018 season as an age grouper, becoming the BTF (British Triathlon Federation) middle distance 25-29 champion and a number of podiums within the Outlaw and Castle Triathlon Series events (UK based races), her goal for 2019 was to get her pro-licence, which she has now achieved. This year (2019) Claire will be stepping up from middle distance to full distance races with her first set to be Outlaw Full at the end of July.
